13 POINT SHOULDER EXAM (POSTER)
The 13 Point Shoulder Ultrasound Exam was created by Ben DuBois, MD and Don Buford, MD, orthopedic surgeons in private practice, to simplify teaching shoulder ultrasound scanning. It provides a quick, logical sequence for shoulder scanning that covers all of the relevant anatomy. Both dynamic and static scanning positions are included. The exam is optimized from a clinical perspective to allow diagnosis of postsurgical shoulder patients also.
We have created a 2ft by 3ft office poster detailing the 13 point shoulder ultrasound exam. The poster shows the correct patient positioning, machine setting, and images in order to provide the clinician with an easy reference for scanning. The poster also lists the corresponding MRI image for reference. The poster is ideal to place in exam rooms or in any teaching location.
